"Do Not Record": new merch from Ukrainska Pravda in collaboration with DAMIRLI

Ukrainska Pravda, together with the DAMIRLI brand, has launched a collaboration dedicated to freedom of speech and the public’s right to know the truth. All proceeds from the sale of the collection will be directed to support Ukrainska Pravda’s investigative journalism department, headed by Mykhailo Tkach.

"Do Not Record"

The phrase "Do Not Record" is well-known to the journalists of Ukrainska Pravda. Our reporters often hear it when a camera is turned on in places where information is being hidden.

These words became the central inscription of the collection – a symbol of the daily work of journalists who capture reality despite pressure, threats, and direct attempts to obstruct professional activity.

The investigative department of Ukrainska Pravda regularly faces such obstacles. Mykhailo Tkach has been a victim in 12 criminal cases related to interference with journalistic activity. The latest attack against him occurred while working in Israel.

We often cover topics that many try to silence. And very often, in response, we hear: “Do not record.” But it is precisely in that moment that we realize: the camera must keep rolling. Because if journalists are forbidden to film, it means there is a truth someone is afraid of. “Do Not Remove” is not just a phrase on a hoodie. It is the near-daily attempt to make us stay silent. And it is a boundary our journalism will never cross.
