“Critical Infrastructure” — a joint project by DTEK, Ukrainska Pravda, and Damirli supporting independent frontline media
In frontline territories, Russia exerts extreme pressure — both military and informational. Independent local media operate at the limits of their capabilities, countering fake news and providing access to accurate information amid constant attacks. Ukraine’s energy sector is a frequent target not only of missiles and drones but also of Russian information attacks. DTEK consistently focuses its communications on facts, debunking enemy disinformation.
“Critical Infrastructure” is a joint social initiative by DTEK, Ukrainska Pravda, and Damirli to support independent regional media in frontline regions.
The merchandise emphasizes that truth is extremely important and can be considered a form of critical infrastructure. Another layer of meaning is that each of us is a valuable “critical infrastructure.” Wearing the merchandise is a public statement in support of truth and critical thinking.
Proceeds from sales are directed to independent newsrooms in Sumy (Kordon.Media), Kharkiv (Gwara), Dnipro (Dnipro.Media), Mykolaiv (MykVisti), and Kherson (MOST), which continue to deliver truthful information under extremely challenging conditions.
